The Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area has been fortunate to have employers who are willing to give newly recovering people a chance. Better yet, some of these employers work hard to provide living wages to their employees. Even better, many of these employers offer these employees management positions after they’ve proven themselves.

It’s win-win. The recovering person is grateful to have been given the opportunity and the employer benefits from a grateful and loyal employee.

Recovering people do so well that some local treatment staff often joke that the clients come back to visit driving nicer cars than any of the staff.
